The first 25 feet of the route offers a 5.12 crux with deep water below. Above is a rest. Matt has attempted several tries above and luckily has been able to down climb and then jump to deep water. During the summer of 2006 water levels were still not right but with Chris Sharma yelling out inspiration, Matt sent the route to the end despite the body breaking shallow water below.
